TMC SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY
The Mission Church Special Needs Ministry focuses on creating an inclusive environment that reflects Jesus’ love and value for each person. Our heart is to reach those with disabilities in our church family and beyond. We love watching children, teens and adults have the opportunity to engage with their peers and experience a sense of belonging. If you would like to learn more about our ministry, we’d love to get to know you better! Mission Buddies (Kinder-6th Grade)
Mission Buddies Sunday Service – 11:30 AM
Our Mission Buddies Ministry is designed so that kids with moderate to severe special needs can participate in our amazing program (Kinder – 6th grade) during the 11:30 AM service on Sunday mornings! Our desire is to see your child:
- Participate in the Mission Buddies classroom alongside a teacher/assistant who is equipped to steward their needs.
- If necessary your child will be paired with a Special Needs Ministry buddy.
- Worship Jesus and learn about the truth of God’s Word!
Our Children’s Ministry Director and Mission Buddies team will do everything we can to accommodate your child’s special needs on Sunday morning at the 11:30AM service. We do require all families to fill out our Mission Buddies Intake Form below. Once completed our Children’s Ministry Team will reach out to schedule a meeting where we can discuss next steps and a plan forward for your child. We can’t wait to meet you and your child!
Sunday Morning Special Needs Service : 11:30 AM
If your child has mild to severe disabilities and is in Middle School or High School please email us by clicking the “Contact Us” link below. We are open to discussing a customized plan for your child and would love to speak with you.
Young Adults
Young Adult Wednesday Night Service
Our Young Adult Ministry is designed so that your young adult (18-29 years) with special needs can participate in our Wednesday night service! Our desire is to see your young adult:
- Participate with their peers along with a leader/volunteer who is aware and equipped to serve their needs.
- If necessary Pair your young adult with a Special Needs Ministry buddy who will attend young adult programming alongside of them.
- Worship Jesus and learn about the truth of God’s Word through ability appropriate study and material.
Our Young Adult Pastor and team will do everything we can to accommodate your special needs young adult during our Wednesday night service. We do require all families to fill out our Special Needs Intake Form below prior to attending our Young Adult Ministry. Once completed our Young Adult Ministry Team will reach out to schedule a meeting where we can discuss next steps and a plan forward for your young adult.
Young Adult Ministry : Wednesday – 7-8:30PM
