Current Series: Rebuilding the Heart – A study in the book of Haggai
Take inventory of your life; where is your time, money, emotions, passions and goals being invested? It’s so easy for our lives to be out of order and then to wonder why we struggle with understanding our purpose! The book of Haggai focuses on God’s people in Jerusalem building their own places of luxury while neglecting the weightier matters of building a relationship with God. Don’t miss a powerful study that will convict and encourage your soul as you learn how to practically apply the prioritization of worshiping Jesus in all that you do!
The Mission Church Young Adults is kicking off the Summer with camping & white water rafting on the Kern River in the Sequoia National Forrest. If you’re 18-29 years old join us for an epic adventure as we raft Class III-IV rapids, tent camp on the river and enjoy beach volleyball, bonfires and more!
Grow in your relationship with Jesus as you build friendships with an amazing community of College & Young Adults. Each day we’ll open up God’s Word on the river bank or around the fire.
Cost: – $299
Includes: Food – Camping – River Rafting (Full Day)
May 31- June 2, 2024 :: Kern River, CA
We also have a non-rafting option for those who would like to come on the YA Summer trip. Instead of rafting this group will take a long local hike and enjoy lunch, games and fellowship together. This group is expected to stay together throughout the day for safety and accountability.

MEET JC COOPER
JC is the Associate Pastor of The Mission Church and oversees the leadership of the College & Young Adults Ministry. A long time native of Carlsbad, JC enjoys spending time with his family in the Carlsbad Village area, surfing with friends, teaching God’s Word and developing relationships with Young Adults! Over the past 6 years, God has moved mightily in the YA Ministry growing it in both depth and number. From a small group of 10, Jesus has brought over 125+ young adults who are thriving in Christ-centered fellowship and are an integral part of serving at The Mission Church. Come, see and be built as a disciple of Jesus!
