What happens when we die?

King Solomon wrote: “I have seen the God-given tasks with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart.

WHY SHOULD I MAKE JESUS LORD OF MY LIFE?

1) HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS.

He was wounded (pierced) for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned, every one, to his own way, and the Lord laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

2) His life, death, and resurrection were foretold in the Bible

In the Book of Psalms is says: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire. …Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. Then I said, “Behold, I come. In the scroll of the book it is written of Me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within My heart.” I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness to the great congregation.”
Psalm 40:6-9, (NKJV)

Then He (Jesus) said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Luke 24:25-27, (NKJV)   https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/psa/40/6-9/s_518006

3) He rose from the dead alive

The Apostle Paul wrote: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
