John 1:1-18 – The Omnipotent King and His Kingdom Eternal. John’s Gospel introduces you to a powerful understanding of who Jesus is and what He has done in order to give you an abundant life! Do you know what it means to be ‘born again?’ The answer to this question may be different than you think! Listen to Pastor Dave teach John 1:1-18, which explores The Omnipotent King and His Kingdom Eternal.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice, from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
Isaiah 9:6–7, NKJV     https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/isa/9/6-7/s_688006
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.
Repent means turn to Jesus

John Reveals who Jesus is:
1) Jesus is Eternal (v1-2)
2) Jesus is Creator of all (v3)
3) Jesus is the Source of Life (v4-5)

“For by Him (Jesus) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist (are held together).”

“He (Jesus) said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s LIFE does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.'”

OUR BIOS (FLESH) CANNOT COMPREHEND THE THINGS OF GOD
“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’ Nicodemus said to Him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?’ Jesus answered, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’”
John 3:3–7, NKJV     https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/jhn/3/3-7/s_1000003

“‘I and My Father are one.’ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.”
John 10:30–31, NKJV     https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/jhn/10/30-31/s_1007030

“Jesus said to them, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.’ Then they took up stones to throw at Him.”
John 8:58–59, NKJV     https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/jhn/8/58-59/s_1005058

Our BIOS (flesh) cannot comprehend the things of God
THIS IS WHY WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN

JESUS MADE THE WORLD YET THE WORLD DID NOT KNOW HIM
