Questions Jesus Asked – Part 3 explores the profound depth of Jesus’ simple question “Do you want to be made well?”

Questions Jesus Asked: DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL? John 5:6

HUMAN POTENTIAL IS ASTONISHING!

We all have some LAME AREAS IN OUR LIFE

I AM THAT LAME MAN!

Many people DON’T REALLY WANT TO BE WELL

Questions Jesus Asked - Part 3

Reasons we may not want Jesus to make us well:

1: WE DON’T WANT TO CHANGE

2: THE FEAR OF FAILURE

3: WE DON’T WANT TO SURRENDER OUR WILL TO JESUS’ LORDSHIP

A tip to help us want to change:

• MEDITATE ON & WRITE OUT THE BENEFITS OF CHANGING

• WRITE THE LIABILITIES OF STAYING SAME

THE CALLING OF GOD IS THE ENABLING OF GOD

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him (Jesus), that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

FEAR OF FAILURE COMES TO US WHEN WE LOOK AT OUR ABILITY

BOLD AND FEARLESS FAITH COMES TO US WHEN WE LOOK AT GOD’S ABILITY

MAKING JESUS THE LORD OF OUR LIFE produces abundant life and fullness of joy

“Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”
