Listen to Pastor JC Cooper’s message and be encouraged that Jesus’ love for you is the key to loving others. Questions Jesus Asked – Part 9

Questions Jesus Asked: What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? – Matthew 12:1-14

JESUS IS UNDER ATTACK
39 Man-made Categories of HOW TO KEEP THE SABBATH
We are we prone to turn from SIMPLE FAITH IN GOD to Vain Religion

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
The Religious Leaders were so busy Working to be Righteous they Did Not to love people

In Jesus we are made perfectly righteous. This Enables us to Love Others

If I Love Others are God’s Laws still Needed?

We need God’s Law to Know:
1. What real Love Is
2. What real Love Does

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
I Delight in God’s Law because:
– It Instructs Me in the Path Righteousness
– It Builds Me into a Man/Woman of Wisdom
– In Keeping It there is Great Reward

Questions Jesus Asked What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? – Matthew 12:1-14

As Jesus Loves You – Let Us Love One Another and Fulfill God’s Law
‘Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.’

Questions Jesus Asked: And His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? – Mathew 24:1-2

The Kingdom of God is about BUILDING PEOPLE

“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” – Ephesians 2:19-22 (NKJV)     https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/eph/2/19-22/s_1099019

We Build People When You Serve without Expecting Something in Return
We Build People When You Speak Truth in Love
We Build People When You Teach them God’s Word
Imagine how Rich and Rewarding our Lives would be if we Loved and Built People?
