7 Practices of a Disciple of Jesus:

In the book of Matthew it says: “Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ

Matthew 28 Acts 2 - 7 Practices of a Disciple of Jesus
ACTS 2

The 1st practice of a disciple of Jesus REPENTANCE

• Our Sin against God
• Our rebellion against the Lordship of Jesus

Let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He (Jesus) is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest.
1 John 3:7-10, ( NKJV)  https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/1jo/3/7-10/s_1162007
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Psalm 37:23-24, (NKJV)  https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/psa/37/23-24/s_515023

For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.
Proverbs 24:16, (NKJV)  https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/pro/24/16/s_652016

Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more. So that (just) as sin reigns in death, even so grace reigns through righteousness, to eternal life, in Jesus Christ our Lord.

The 2ND practice of a disciple of Jesus – BAPTISM.
If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
Luke 9:23-24, (NKJV)  https://www.blueletterbible.org/nkjv/luk/9/23-24/s_982023

The 3rd mark of a disciple of Jesus – indwelling Holy Spirit
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.
